Fun with the Grandkids

We've had a lot of fun so far this month. Here are some random pictures.

Mike and Collin at The Blast indoor playground in Eagan.

When the weather is nice, we play outside on the deck.

Judah and Alethia playing with water on the deck.

Yes, there are booster seats in the back of the convertible.

It gets a little windy driving in the convertible, though.

Collin fishing in our new kids' pool.

Hayley in the pool.

Splash!

A fun way to slide.

Hayley splashes Collin.

Mike and Collin inside.

Hayley doesn't really like spray-on sunscreen.

Yes, it was a little windy that day.

Sherry and the kids.

Collin rolling down the big hill by the neighborhood church.

Playing outside in the rain on a sunny day. (Hayley is singing "Singin' in the Rain," of course.)

And, after a busy day of playing, it's nap time in our bedroom.

Rhythm and Words Festival

We took the kids to the Burnsville Rhythm and Words Festival at the Performing Arts Center. We listened to some kids music, got to try out some musical instruments, and had fun splashing about in the water park outside.

Making crafts.

Waiting for the concert to begin.

Still waiting. (It took the band longer to set up then it did to play their set!)

We're not sure what this is. Some sort of giant rat? Or maybe a chihuahua?

Hayley plays the conga.

Collin's favorite instrument, the trombone. (And he was amazingly good at it!)

Hayley plays the trombone.

Collin tries the saxophone.

Collin plays the clarinet.

Hayley blows her horn.

Collin strums the ukulele.

Playing in the water outside.

Hayley tries not to get her new skirt wet. (We think it actually glows in the dark...)

Very cute, Hayley.

Collin is not afraid of getting his clothes wet.

Pose for the camera, Collin.

Collin likes a little splash of water up his butt.

More Fun at the Museum

Collin and Hayley just can't get enough of the Children's Museum, so Sherry took them back the day after they were there with their cousins. They spent four hours there -- a full day to see everything they could!
